Gaz Strip: Four More Clinics Closed Due to Israeli Attacks

On Monday, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) announced the closure of its four clinics in the northern Gaza Strip due to renewed Israeli attacks on the area.

The relief organization denounced in a statement the army’s widespread raid on civilians and new forced evacuation orders.
It also warned of the upcoming closure of the Al-Amal hospital in the southern city of Khan Yunis due to a lack of spare parts to fix its power generators, which are vital to the operation of the facility.
The PRCS urged the international community to exert pressure on Israel to allow new generators to be brought in from abroad.
According to medical sources in the coastal enclave, only 15 of the 38 hospitals in the Strip are functioning, albeit partially, after a year of war.
Since October last year at least 986 members of the sector have been killed by Israeli forces and 130 ambulances have been taken out of service.
A few days ago, the Civil Defense of the Strip reported the death of 84 of its members in the Palestinian territory since the beginning of the conflict.
